Remember the huge, strange spiky plant that took 10 years to flower (post #103)? Instead of growing seed pods, the flowers grew into new baby spiky plants - hundreds or even thousands of them. Wombat loves the hunt and has been gathering them up as they start to fall.

Another early frosty morning... another weed turned glorious by ice and fire (sunlight)... in the country, this one is called 'Farmer's Friend' (due to its habit of sticking its seeds all over you)... in the city it is known as 'Cobbler's Pegs' (possibly because it coats your shoelaces & socks with little 'nails').
